Hi, I’m Tom. For over 10 years I’ve led design projects end-to-end – from deep problem discovery to execution and delivery, across fast-moving B2C startups and enterprise B2B SaaS.
AI is central to my workflow, improving pace and quality and bringing design closer to code. Alongside hands-on craft, I shape product direction and grow healthier design practices.

Senior Product Designer at EcoOnline, international B2B SaaS. Leading research and design for our sustainability software. 80% IC executing end-to-end, 20% strategy, innovation and culture.
My next role
Senior IC (Senior/Lead/Staff/Principal) or leadership positions. What matters most to me is the challenge, the team, and the opportunity – not the exact title.
My USP: player-coach
I can deliver end-to-end research and design at a senior level, and I also know how to set direction, mentor teams, and strengthen culture.
That balance means I can flex between being a highly effective IC or a design leader who still understands what it takes to ship great products.
My unusual background
I studied law at university and was an unhappy solicitor for 2 years. I quit, went travelling, co-founded a startup, fell in love with product design and switched careers. I’ve been a product designer ever since (11+ years).

In-house, remote in the UK. Ideally, connecting with colleagues regularly in person.
